Keep your recipe collection organized with Cooked.wiki’s flexible organization tools.

Creating Collections

Collections help you group similar recipes together:

  1. Click the “Collections” tab in your dashboard
  2. Select “New Collection”
  3. Name your collection (e.g., “Weeknight Dinners”, “Holiday Favorites”)
  4. Add an optional description and cover image
  5. Save your new collection

Adding Recipes to Collections

Add recipes to your collections:

  1. From a recipe page: Click the “Add to Collection” button and select your collection
  2. From your recipe list: Select multiple recipes, click “Add to Collection”
  3. When saving a new recipe: Choose a collection in the save dialog

Using Tags

Tags provide another way to categorize recipes:

  1. Add tags when saving or editing a recipe
  2. Common tags include cuisine type, diet restrictions, or cooking method
  3. View all recipes with a specific tag by clicking that tag anywhere it appears

Sorting and Filtering

Find recipes quickly with sorting and filtering:

  1. Sort by name, date added, cook time, or rating
  2. Filter by ingredient, cuisine, diet restriction, or preparation time
  3. Combine multiple filters for precise results

Advanced Organization Tips

  • Use a consistent naming convention for collections and tags
  • Create seasonal collections that rotate throughout the year
  • Use color coding for quick visual recognition of collection types
