👥 Finding your friends on Cooked.wiki

Connect with friends, family, and fellow food enthusiasts on Cooked.wiki to share recipes and cooking inspiration.

Finding Existing Users

Search for people you know:

  1. Click on the “Community” tab in the main navigation
  2. Select “Find Friends” from the dropdown menu
  3. Use the search bar to look for friends by username or full name
  4. Browse suggested connections based on your contacts or social networks

Connecting Social Media

Link your social accounts to find more connections:

  1. Go to your profile settings
  2. Select the “Connected Accounts” section
  3. Link your Facebook, Instagram, or other social media accounts
  4. Cooked.wiki will identify your contacts who are already using the platform

Following Other Users

Start following people whose recipes you enjoy:

  1. Visit any user’s profile page
  2. Click the “Follow” button to see their public recipes and activities
  3. Receive notifications when they add new recipes or collections
  4. Browse your “Following” list to see all users you follow

Friend Requests

Connect more closely with specific users:

  1. Send a friend request by clicking “Add Friend” on their profile
  2. Wait for them to accept your request
  3. Friends can see each other’s private recipes when shared
  4. Manage all friend requests in the “Connections” section of your profile

Contact Import

Find multiple connections at once:

  1. Go to “Find Friends” page
  2. Select “Import Contacts”
  3. Choose your email provider or upload a contact file
  4. Review suggested connections from your contact list
