👥 Finding your friends on Cooked.wiki
Connect with friends, family, and fellow food enthusiasts on Cooked.wiki to share recipes and cooking inspiration.
Finding Existing Users
Search for people you know:
- Click on the “Community” tab in the main navigation
- Select “Find Friends” from the dropdown menu
- Use the search bar to look for friends by username or full name
- Browse suggested connections based on your contacts or social networks
Connecting Social Media
Link your social accounts to find more connections:
- Go to your profile settings
- Select the “Connected Accounts” section
- Link your Facebook, Instagram, or other social media accounts
- Cooked.wiki will identify your contacts who are already using the platform
Following Other Users
Start following people whose recipes you enjoy:
- Visit any user’s profile page
- Click the “Follow” button to see their public recipes and activities
- Receive notifications when they add new recipes or collections
- Browse your “Following” list to see all users you follow
Friend Requests
Connect more closely with specific users:
- Send a friend request by clicking “Add Friend” on their profile
- Wait for them to accept your request
- Friends can see each other’s private recipes when shared
- Manage all friend requests in the “Connections” section of your profile
Contact Import
Find multiple connections at once:
- Go to “Find Friends” page
- Select “Import Contacts”
- Choose your email provider or upload a contact file
- Review suggested connections from your contact list
