Cooked.wiki offers powerful organization tools to help you manage your growing recipe collection.

Creating Collections

Organize recipes into themed collections:

  1. From your recipe dashboard, click “Collections” in the sidebar
  2. Select “New Collection” at the top of the page
  3. Name your collection and add an optional description
  4. Choose a cover image (optional)
  5. Click “Create Collection”

Smart Collections

Create dynamic collections that update automatically:

  1. Click “Create Smart Collection” in the Collections section
  2. Set filtering rules (e.g., “Contains ingredient: chicken” or “Cooking time: under 30 minutes”)
  3. Give your smart collection a name
  4. Recipes matching your criteria will automatically appear in this collection

Using Tags

Add descriptive tags to your recipes:

  1. Edit any recipe in your collection
  2. Scroll to the “Tags” section
  3. Add relevant tags (cuisine type, occasion, dietary needs, etc.)
  4. Use the tag filter in your recipe list to quickly find recipes

Recipe Search and Filters

Find specific recipes quickly:

  1. Use the search bar at the top of your recipe dashboard
  2. Apply filters like preparation time, cuisine, or dietary restrictions
  3. Sort results by various criteria (date added, cooking time, rating)
  4. Save frequently used searches for quick access

Archiving Recipes

Keep your collection tidy without deleting recipes:

  1. Select recipes you rarely use
  2. Click “Archive” from the action menu
  3. Archived recipes will be moved to a separate section
  4. Restore archived recipes anytime by selecting “Unarchive”
